SUMMARY CONCLUSION

The Bible appears to be likening tribulation to the time when the whole body weeps, mourn and laments under the judgment of God. The Elect, it seems, no longer mourn once they come out of tribulation. For them, it’s a time of joy as Christ is revealed to bring them out Babylon. The remaining unsaved, however, continues to destroy one another as God allows the lovers (enemy) with whom they had committed fornication to lament and weep bitterly over the city as they see her nakedness.
