Ten Virgins-2

Looking into the nature and TIMING of this parable.

LAMPS ARE GONE OUT: CHURCH IN TRIBULATION?

Mt 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

2Ch 29:7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.

Le 24:2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

Pr 13:9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

Pr 20:20 Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.

Job 18:5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

BUYING AND SELLING: CHURCH IN TRIBULATION?

Mt 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell <4453>, and buy <59> for yourselves.

Lu 19:45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold <4453> therein, and them that bought <59>;

Lu 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought <59>, they sold <4453>, they planted, they builded;

Lu 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell <4453> his garment, and buy <59> one.

Re 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Re 13:17 And that no man might buy <59> or sell <4453>, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Mt 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Lu 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

AFTER THE DOOR IS SHUT: JUDGMENT AT THE REVELATION OF CHRIST?

Mt 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Mt 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mt 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Heb 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Mt 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
