Confusion

Does CONFUSION have anything to do with the fall of Babylon today? Let's examine.

2Co 12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes <2052>, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

2Co 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults <181>, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

2Co 12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults <181>:

Isa 24:10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up <05462>, that no man may come in.

Eze 44:2 Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and NO MAN shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut <05462>.

Am 1:9 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up <05462> the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

BABEL, BABYLON: THE CHURCH (CONFUSION) FALLING IN JUDGMENT?

Re 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Re 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION:

God seems to equate confusion to envying and strife, being the state of the church in tribulation. Babel, Babylon points to the confusion brought on the Church in tribulation. This judgment of fiery indignation (confusion) comes in the form of God allowing antichrits to rule in the body at the same time.
