SUMMARY CONCLUSION

The Bible appears to be equating leading captivity captive to God’s judgment on Babylon. Because she lead the body into captivity, God recompenses the same at the revelation of Christ. Bringing again the captivity of the elect seems to point to God causing them to return to the promise land after the fall in tribulation.
