End of the Sabbath

Is there a Spiritual side to the Sabbath coming to and End? Let's examine.

De 5:12 Keep the SABBATH day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

Isa 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from THE SABBATH, from doing thy pleasure on MY HOLY DAY; and call the sabbath a **delight**, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Ps 37:4 **Delight** thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Ps 118:24 This is THE DAY which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Ex 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the SABBATH OF *REST*, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you *REST*.

Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the SABBATH from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Ro 2:17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and *RESTEST* in the LAW, and makest thy boast of God,

Ga 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a DEBTOR to do the whole LAW.

Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole LAW, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty OF ALL.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of THE SABBATH {}:

Col 2:17 Which are a *SHADOW* of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Lu 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the *SHADOW* of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Heb 10:1 For the LAW having a *SHADOW* of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

Mr 2:27 And he said unto them, The SABBATH (Christ) was made for man (the church), and not man for the sabbath:

Mr 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the SABBATH.

Le 26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be DESOLATE, and your cities waste.

Isa 23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of <seventy years>, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.

Isa 23:18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.

Mt 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the SABBATH DAY:

Mt 24:21 For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

God seems to reveal Christ as THE SABBATH. However in tribulation, the church becomes identified with the LAW and SABBATH of antichrist. A dramatic picture of the seventh day Sabbath that was to be observed by resting in Christ. And as the church failed to observe its own Sabbath (antichrist), that Sabbath came to an end where God instituted a new Sabbath as He redeems the Elect from Babylon.
