Uncertain Sound

Could Uncertain Sound be looking at the church in tribulation when it is not blowing the trumpet?

TRUMPET: THE WORD OF GOD?

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the SWORD of the Spirit, which is the WORD OF GOD:

Heb 4:12 For the WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged SWORD, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Re 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Ps 17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the WICKED, {} THY SWORD:

UNCERTAIN SOUND: WITNESS OF THE CHURCH IN TRIBULATION?

1Co 14:8 For if the **trumpet** give an UNCERTAIN <82> SOUND, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

Lu 11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and **Pharisees**, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which APPEAR NOT <82>, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in UNCERTAIN RICHES, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

De 28:66 And thy life shall hang in DOUBT before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have NONE ASSURANCE of thy life:

Eze 33:6 But if the **watchman** see the sword come, and BLOW NOT THE TRUMPET, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. (Seeing does not imply knowledge?)

Eze 33:8 When I say unto the **wicked**, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost NOT SPEAK to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor SPEAKEST to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Jer 42:14 Saying, No; but we will go into the **land of Egypt**, where we shall see no war, NOR HEAR the SOUND of the TRUMPET, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

Isa 31:1 Woe to them that go down to **Egypt for help**; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

Re 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called **Sodom and Egypt**, where also our Lord was crucified.

Re 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither COLD nor HOT: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Re 3:16 So then because thou art LUKEWARM, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

SOUND OF THE TRUMPET (JUDGMENT): THE CHURCH DESTROYING THE CHURCH?

Ho 9:6 For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: **Egypt** shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles.

Eze 38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s SWORD shall be against his brother.

Re 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven TRUMPETS prepared themselves to sound.

Re 8:7 The first angel SOUNDED, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the ^third part^ of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Re 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the TRUMPET of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Re 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to SOUND, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Jer 6:1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the TRUMPET in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

God appears to associate uncertain sound to the church in tribulation. Two pictures are in view with the sounding of the trumpet: one is that the unsaved watchman blows (false gospel) that destroys the church (judgment). The other is the trumpet believers blow with unsealing of the Bible (revelation of Christ) that allows God to gather the elect out of Babylon.
