Orion and Pleiades

Could these constellations be a reference to the Church? Let's examine.

ARCTURUS, ORION, PLEIADES: CONSTELLATIONS, THE CHURCH?

Job 9:9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion <03685>, and Pleiades, and the --chambers of the south--.

Job 38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or **loose the bands** of Orion <03685>?

Isa 52:2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: **loose thyself from the bands of thy neck**, O captive daughter of Zion.

Isa 58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to **loose the bands of wickedness**, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

Isa 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the CONSTELLATIONS <03685> thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Eze 32:8 All the BRIGHT LIGHTS of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.

Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the SUN and the MOON shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

Mt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the SUN be darkened, and the MOON shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mr 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering STARS, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

CHAMBERS OF THE SOUTH: PRIESTS, BODY OF CHRIST?

Job 9:9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the --chambers of the south--.

Eze 40:45 And he said unto me, This --chamber, whose prospect is toward the south--, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

Eze 41:11 And the doors of the --side chambers-- were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward --the south--: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.

Eze 42:12 And according to the doors of the --chambers that were toward the south-- was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

Eze 42:13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the --south chambers--, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

ORION: SEVEN STARS?

Am 5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars <03598> and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

Re 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Re 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Re 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

Re 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

ORION <03585>: FOOLISH FOOL <03586> FROM THE ROOT WORD ?

Job 9:9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion <03685>, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Ec 10:12 The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool <03684> will swallow up himself.

Ec 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools <03684>: pay that which thou hast vowed.

Pr 26:10 The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool <03684>, and rewardeth transgressors.

Pr 15:7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish <03684> doeth not so.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

Arcturus, Orion and Pleiades appear to be other names that God uses for the corporate body of Christ. They identify with the constellations (sun, moon and stars) that go dark after the tribulation. Christ is light, but in tribulation, the constellations become identified with Babylon.
