Sighing

Could the Elect Sighing be pointing to them enduring tribulation? Let's examine.

SIGHING: GREAT TRIBULATION?

Isa 24:7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

La 1:4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.

La 1:11 All her people sigh, they seek BREAD; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.

Am 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a FAMINE in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Eze 14:13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the BREAD thereof, and will send FAMINE upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

Eze 4:16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread IN JERUSALEM: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

La 1:21 They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.

Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark <08420> upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Job 31:35 Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire <08420> is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.

Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark <08420>; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Eze 21:6 Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.

Job 3:24 For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

Ps 12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

Ps 31:10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing <0585>: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

Ps 38:9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning <0585> is not hid from thee.

Ps 79:11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;

Re 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Jer 45:3 Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing <0585>, and I find no rest.

La 1:22 Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs <0585> are many, and my heart is faint.

Ps 6:6 I am weary with my groaning <0585>; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

NO MORE SIGHING: REVELATION OF CHRIST AFTER THE TRIBULATION?

Isa 21:2 A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.

Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing <0585> shall flee away.

Isa 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning <0585> shall flee away.

Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Re 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

Sighing is synonymous to groaning, crying and weeping. Language that seems to be pointing to the nature of the great tribulation when the elect find no rest (redemption) from the oppression of the false prophets as God calls for a famine. Once Christ was revealed, however (Bible unsealed), the believers no longer sigh. Instead they have joy (Christ) as God brings them out of Babylon.
