SUMMARY CONCLUSION

The Bible appears to be equating the Sabbath to Christ. He is Lord of the Sabbath. The 7th day was pointing to Him and the church was to keep it Holy. In tribulation, however, the church defiled the Sabbath (Christ) by going after other gods. At the resurrection, God speaks of a new Sabbath; One where the Holiness of the Sabbath is restored as the elect come out of Babylon.
