After the Resurrection

How does the resurrection of Christ relate to the Elect coming out of Babylon? Let's examine.

JUDGMENT PROPHESIED BUT NOT UNDERSTOOD

Mr 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Lu 17:25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Da 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Lu 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Lu 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Lu 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Re 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Ho 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Lu 9:44 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

Lu 9:45 But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

Ac 7:25 For he (Moses) supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

Da 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

REVELATION AFTER THE RESURRECTION?

Mt 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Mt 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Mt 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

Joh 21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Lu 24:6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Lu 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Lu 24:8 And they remembered his words,

Ho 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Lu 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Lu 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Lu 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Joh 12:16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

Mt 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Ge 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Am 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

TELL NO MAN: TO BE REVEALED AT THE APPOINTED TIME?

Mt 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Mt 8:4 And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Mr 7:35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

Mr 7:36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

Mt 17:9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

Mr 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

Mr 4:34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

God, it seems, had a specific time to reveal truth to the elect. And just as Christ’s death and resurrection was not understood until after He was raised from the dead and sent the Holy Spirit to enlighten the disciples, so to, it seems the elect receive revelation after the two witnesses (body of Christ) had been killed and to be raised from the spiritual grave that is Babylon.
