BONES & BURIAL - REVIEW

Heb 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones <3747>. (bridge – bones 6106)

Eze 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to HIS bone.

Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of HIS bones <3747>.

Ge 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Joh 19:36 For these things were done, that the Scripture should be fulfilled, A bone <3747> of him shall not be broken.

Ps 34:20 He keepeth all his bones <6106>: not one of them is broken.

Lu 9:59-60 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury <2290> my father... Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury <2290> their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

The Bible appears to be relating bones & burial to salvation or the lack of it. Bones buried by God, points to the death and burial IN Christ. The wicked are also GRAVES from which the Elect are resurrected. These dead bones or graves (church) are also used of God to bury their own. And bones that are NOT gathered or buried points to a lack of salvation.
