Ho 12:2 The LORD hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.
Ho 12:3 He took his brother by the heel <06117> in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:
Ge 27:35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty (deceit, craft…), and hath taken away thy blessing.
Ge 27:36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me <06117> these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?
Ge 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. (Jacob wrestled with God all night – tribulation?)

Ps 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

The Bible appears to be equating the bruising of the head of the serpent with God’s judgment on the church at the revelation of Christ and the bruising of the heel to the death of the two witnesses in tribulation when the heel (Christ) is bruised through deceit.
