Veil of the Temple

Could the Veil of the Temple be a picture of Christ being done away with in God's judgment on the Church?

VEIL IS RENT: NO MORE ACCESS TO THE HOLY OF HOLIES?

Mt 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

Mt 27:51 And, behold, the veil <2665> of the temple <3485> was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Ex 26:33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.

Eze 44:12 Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

Eze 44:13 And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (High priest going into Holy of Holies through the veil = Christ appearing in the presence of God for the elect? If so then the veil of the temple being rent = no more high priest making intercession?)

THE VEIL: CHRIST?

Lu 23:45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil <2665> of the temple <3485> was rent <4977> in the midst.

Mt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil <2665>, that is to say, his flesh;

Heb 6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Heb 9:3 And after the second veil <2665>, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

So 5:7 The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil <07289> from me.

Ru 3:15 Also he (Boaz) said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and she went into the city.

Is 3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

Is 3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,

Is 3:23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails <07289>.

RENT: DIVISION - PARTING OF GARMENTS:

Joh 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

Joh 19:24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend <4977> it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

Ac 14:4 But the multitude of the city was divided <4977>: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.

Ac 23:7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided <4977>.

Ge 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

Joh 21:11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken <4977>.

END OF SACRIFICES: END OF INDIVIDUAL SALVATION?

Da 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Da 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily {sacrifice}, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Le 24:2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually (daily) <08548>.

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies (Christ) a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

At the cross, the veil of the temple (Christ) was rent which seems to point to the end of physical sacrifices. No longer could the high priest enter into the most Holy place on behalf of the elect. This seems to be a picture of what happens at the revelation of Christ. The Sun is darkened and the veil (Christ) of the temple (Christ) is also rent pointing to the end of spiritual sacrifices?
