Under the Law

How could the LAW that is Christ also relate to Babylon in judgment? Let's examine.

LAW OF SIN: THE UNSAVED CHURCH?

Ga 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the LAW, do ye not hear the law?

Ga 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a BONDMAID, the other by a freewoman.

Ga 4:23 But he who was of the BONDWOMAN was born after the FLESH; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Ga 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to BONDAGE, which is AGAR.

Ga 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in BONDAGE with her children.

Ga 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

LAW & WRATH: GOD USING THE CHURCH (LAW) TO JUDGE BABYLON?

Ro 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no LAW is, there is no transgression.

Ro 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the LAW: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Ro 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the LAW there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Ro 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under SIN.

Ga 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under SIN, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Ro 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no LAW.

Ga 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in BONDAGE?

Ga 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the LAW are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Ga 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Ro 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into CAPTIVITY to the LAW OF SIN which is in my members.

Ro 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the LAW OF GOD; but with the FLESH the LAW of SIN.

Ro 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself WRATH against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

THE GOOD LAW: CHRIST IN THE MIDST OF THE CHURCH PRIOR TO JUDGMENT?

Ro 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the LAW sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

Ro 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

Ro 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

Ro 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

Ro 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.

Ro 7:12 Wherefore the LAW is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Ro 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

THE SPIRITUAL LAW VS THE CARNAL BODY

Ro 7:14 For we know that the LAW is spiritual (Christ): but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Ro 8:2 For the LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the LAW of SIN and DEATH.

Ro 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

Ro 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

Ga 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Ro 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Ro 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the BODY of this DEATH?

LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE: CHRIST?

Ro 8:2 For the LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the LAW of SIN and DEATH.

Ga 3:23 But before faith (Christ) came, we were kept under the LAW, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

Lu 1:57 Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.

Joh 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.

Ga 4:5 To redeem them that were under the LAW, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Ga 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the LAW, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Ga 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the LAW.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION

God appears to be equating the LAW to Christ, the WORD, prior to judgment. However in tribulation, the Law (Christ) becomes unclean and is then used of God to judge the unsaved body. This unclean body brought the Elect to Christ where God redeemed them from the carnal LAW at the revelation of Christ.
