Many vs. Few

Conclusion:

From the above information, it appears that to be beaten ties into the judgment coming on the corporate body in tribulation. Elect are beaten with few stripes because they sin in ignorance and God provides a covering for their sin. This appears to identify with their chastisement at the start of the tribulation. However, the unsaved in the body are referred to as those who knew the master’s will and yet disobeyed the master. They are viewed as vile and come under the full wrath of God in that they are forever cast out of the kingdom.
