SUMMARY CONCLUSION

The burning bush that is not consumed appears to point to God’s salvation to the elect where they are not consumed by the fire of His wrath. Christ dwells in the midst of the church (bush). The unsaved in the church, however, remain under judgment and the fire does consume them on the Day of the Lord.
